Well, it’s finally over. The dreaded age that I was fearing for quite some time and rightfully so. 30 didn’t start off too good for me. I was unmarried, unemployed, and living at my mom’s. The only two things that made me feel like an adult was the fact that I was losing a surprising amount of hair, and I that I was definitely falling out of my athletic prime (did I even have one?).
Over the course of countless discussions, Tony and I have begun to realize how similar we both were as children. We’ve discovered that our dispositions, habits, and favorites are oftentimes almost identical. Finding out that mint chocolate chip was our go-to ice cream as a kid was no exception. My craze was perhaps a wee bit more intense. I mean, you can still reach me on AOL instant messenger as Mintchipdiva8 (really guys, that was actually my first screen name). While we won’t be recreating our childhood favorite, we will show you how to whip up your own no churn ice cream right at home. It’s incredibly simple and no fancy equipment is necessary. Ever since we started, my mind has been totally consumed with concocting magical new flavors. I’m pretty sure this refreshing, rich, and creamy, lemon basil flavor came to me in a dream.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock that blocks wifi, chances are you’re pretty familiar with Warby Parker; super stylish glasses starting at $95, an at-home try-on system that lets you sample 5 glasses at a time absolutely free, and a charity tie-in that delivers glasses to those in need.
BUT WAIT. WE JUST DISCOVERED SOMETHING THAT MAKES THEM EVEN BETTER.
The first time Tony mentioned living together we were sitting outside on an unusually sunny day in Pittsburgh. We were both semi-inebriated and I remember sort of sloshing back my drink after he mentioned cohabitation, but then totally agreeing with his sentiment 110%. At that time we were only two months into dating and I’m glad that we opted to wait a year instead of jumping on the opportunity that second. But even with waiting, I definitely had concerns about moving in together. I’m the first of all my friends to move in with their boyfriends and one of the first to move to an entirely new city. All those worries have already subsided, and I can honestly say that living with Tony is an actual dream. With that said, we thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite aspects of living together (and some of the ones that drive us just a teenie bit crazy).
